Gulden Kunstverks location

Look us up when you're visiting Norway!

Gulden Kunstverk is an art gallery located between Drammen and Kongberg which opened its doors to the public in 1985. The gallery was originally a barn on a little Norwegian farm. The gallery represents over 60 of Norways finest and most popular artists and printmakers.

Gulden Kunstverk is founded, owned and operated by the Norwegian American Walter N. Welo. Welo was born and raised in Hibbing, Mn. and went to Luther College in Decorah, IA before moving to Norway in 1977. Walter is also the brother of Midwest artist and printmaker Larry Welo from Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. Take a look at his fine website www.welostudio.com

We are always happy to receive visitors from the USA.
