Welcome to Gulden Kunstverks Web Gallery
Gulden Kunstverk has been in the art business for 17 years. This has given us the opportunity to build sound relationships with many of Norways finest visual artists, which again is the reason why we really do have one of the best selections of contemporary graphic art in the country. The Web Gallery you now will be visiting gives you insight in the art and the artists that we represent. Our Web Gallery has been under construction since January of 2002 and now counts over 900 prints. Our main objectives in creating this art collection have been correct color reproduction to give an exact impression of the work as well as low resolution so that many pieces can be shown on the same page. This all makes for a good overview of each artists work and a practical means to pick and choose.
We are still working on the English and Norwegian biographical presentations of each artist. This information will be linked in time to the respective artists gallery site.
We suggest you proceed in the following manner
All of the art work is presented by clicking "List of Artists". There you will get an overview of all the art work. Before doing this however, you may be interested in looking at "our recommendations" and the "word list". This could also help you understand the site better, which is the same for Norwegians. If you are not familiar with the metric system, you might want to have a meter stick handy to help visualize actual size. We have attempted to present the art such that larger works appear larger than smaller. Keep this in mind as it of certain reasons has not always been possible.
